CONNECTING FLIGHTS

If you have a connecting flight in Canada following your immigration process, you may need to collect your luggage from the baggage carousels prior to making your connection. Speak with your airline for details about collecting baggage.

The two common airlines for domestic flights in Canada are Air Canada and WestJet. Speak with YVR information personnel to find out where your next check-in will be. Depending on the time of day, there may be a specific exit in the baggage claim area for making domestic connections and baggage drop-off. After checking in for your next flight and dropping off your bags, you will need to proceed once more through security before making your way to the gates.
