LANDING PROCEDURE

As a general guide, your landing procedure will have following steps:

• Arrival at the airport
• Customs clearance
• Immigration Process
• Collection of Baggage
• Connecting Flights or Exit

Please note that wait times in customs/immigration area. Drinks and light snacks may be available for purchase through vending machines using Canadian currency or credit cards. Currency exchange services are available inside the arrival hall.

If you have lost luggage upon arrival, you will need to notify a representative of your airline. The agent will ask you to provide your contact information as well as a detailed description of your baggage in order to prepare a baggage claim report.

There are courtesy phone booths in the international arrival area. If you want to make a short local telephone call, you can approach the YVR Information Desk and ask for assistance.
